Good always triumphs over Evil
Dussehra is also called as Vijay Dashami. It is one of the most important festivals of India. It is celebrated on the 10th day of the Hindu month of Ashwin after the nine days of Navratri .It is celebrated in different ways in entire India. Dussehra marks the victory of Lord Rama over Ravana. In North India ,huge effigies of Ravana ,Meghnath and Kumbhkaran are burnt. It is also celebrated in Bengal. People in Bengal celebrate the victory of Durga ma over a demon named as Mahishasura.
Dussehra was celebrated in Binary Foundation on 10th October 2024.All students participated with immense fun and enthusiasm. Students were involved in craft activity. They made beautiful effigies of Lord Ram , Lakshmanji ,Sita and Raavan. Also students made beautiful board based on the theme ‘ Dussehra’. Teachers shared the valuable information related to the festival.
Students of morning batch did beautiful craft work to celebrate the festival of Navratri. They made dandiya girls and face of Maa Durga. These activities were conducted in order to bring awareness about our culture and traditions. The message of the festival was shared with children that they should always do the right thing as Good always triumphs over Evil.
